Marco and crew seemed determine to confirm every negative stereotype about car dealers. We had an agreement worked out ahead of time by email and only should have had to negotiate the value of a trade-in, sign the paperwork and be gone. The first paperwork they presented substantially deviated from the prior agreement. No explanation for the discrepancy was given. Finally at closing time we were told they would honor that agreement and deliver the car. Update to original post: I had initially taken my 2010 Chevy Malibu into the service center over a month ago to have the steering column torque sensor replaced. During this process, the technician damaged a trim panel piece. Despite attempts by dealership over the past several weeks to locate a part, a new replacement part could not be ordered due to the car's age. After speaking to the parts manager earlier today, we reached an agreement to compensate me for the replacement cost of the part. I appreciated this resolution. Thank you Gerry Lane.

Quick check-in with representative. Reviewed maintenance requirements for the appointment. After an inspection of the vehicle, the technician made recommendations for additional service. Work was completed in a timely fashion. Technician reviewed future recommendations prior to my leaving.

We had an agreement and nothing was needed from me to hold truck til I could make 2 day drive to complete transaction. I drove 600 miles and found out they sold it to someone else before I could get there. They sold it Saturday morning and didn't bother to tell me til 430pm after I had been driving at least another 5 hours. Their attitude about the situation seemed to be tough luck, nothing we can do about it. They don't seem to care and won't call me to talk about it. I guess I was expecting too much ...

When we purchased the vehicle in 2023, we were told there were 2 free oil changes per year for the life of the vehicle. We were surprised that the Dealership offered free oil changes for the life of the vehicle. From that point forward, we have continued to bring the vehicle to the dealership.for the free oil changes. We have not had any issues with the Service Department. Love dealing with Gerry Lane Chevrolet.

My car has spent the greater part of 2 months at this dealership for a coolant leak. Over $300 just to look at it. It took the dealership 3 weeks to perform a repair on my car to replace a heating core and ECU. I had to contact the dealership daily because there was next to zero communication on what the delay was. After paying over 4k for this repair and replacing the ECU I was told my alternator was also going to need to be replaced and it would cost an additional 1k. I said no and picked up the car and ...

I brought my truck in for service and had oil changed and tires rotated. I have been doing this at Jerry Lanes for 7 years, no problems. All 4 tires registered on my dash tire pressure system. When I picked up the car, none of the tire pressures were showing and I ask about it they said that the batteries may be bad. How are all 4 batteries bad by just rotating the tires. I think that someone wanted to make a bunch of money by not resetting the pressure notification. Now all tire pressures show a blank line.

Service department is ELITE; Sandra C. has great customer service and goes beyond the typical/usual employee i’ve dealt with at other competing dealer service departments in the greater Baton Rouge, LA region. I will be bringing any and all future issues to this location. She was very helpful and transparent throughout the entire SPEEDY and quality repair process on my silverado.

After bring my vehicle to the GM dealer, I went to pick the vehicle up. I was not there long, but it appears to me that GM is only concerned with money and not customer satisfaction. I have had transmission work done on this vehicle (2018 GMC Sierra 1500, vin 3GTU2PEC3JG542830) several times now and it's still not fixed properly. Also, the Waiver of Redhibition Warranty and Righsts was NOT disclosed to me before or after I signed and paid for the service. And the don’t check fluids and tires all my tires was under the range for air , just how I drove it in low tire pressure is just how I left with the same low tire pressure on all 4 tires. I came in for an oil change on a Saturday morning, and I was out within about an hour or so. Great customer service and speedy service too!!! I've been coming here since I purchased my car in 2015, and I always receive good customer service.

My experience with the service department was excellent.

I had an appointment at 10:00 am and my vehicle wasn't finished until 1:00pm. This is for an oil change and tire rotation. I believe that this is way too long. I understand that there are many vehicles to service, however, I travel from Lafayette to get it serviced at Gerry Lane. I believe if you have an appointment at 10:00 (I showed up on time), then a simple servicing should be expected to be picked up within under 2 hours.

My car 2020 equinox took 15 days to replace battery,starter, ac clutch and ac. It seemed as if this was one of the first times this had been encountered.
